Accessibility statement

What we have built in, and how to tell us when something does not work.

In plain English

  • The Hub is built to be used on a phone, with large tap targets, strong contrast and short pages.
  • Nothing here has been formally audited against WCAG or any other standard yet, so we do not claim compliance with one.

What we have done

  • Mobile-first layouts that work from small phones upwards, with large buttons.
  • Keyboard access to controls, with visible focus.
  • Readable text, a large-print option in Communication My Way, and print views for cards and profiles.
  • Visual alternatives: symbols can be switched off, and text is always shown alongside them.
  • Reduced motion: animations respect your device's reduced-motion setting, and the Brain Fart game has a still version.
  • Voice and text alternatives: the voice guide is optional, text is always on screen, and you never have to speak back.
  • Optional rather than forced prompts: reminders, check-ins and guides can all be switched off.

Known gaps

No independent accessibility audit has been carried out. Screen-reader testing has not been completed across every tool.

ADMIN: COMPLETE BEFORE LAUNCH — commission an accessibility audit and record the standard, date and findings here.

Telling us about a problem

If something is hard or impossible to use, please tell us and describe what happened. Accessibility problems are treated as faults, not requests.

ADMIN: COMPLETE BEFORE LAUNCH — confirm the accessibility contact address and the response timescale.
