Don't Let Me Forget

If a thought arrives while someone else is speaking, you do not have to choose between interrupting and losing it. One word is enough to hold it.

Park a thought

A keyword or a few words. For example: remote work, deadline, ask about medication, PhD example, Tuesday meeting.

Sign in to use keeping any of these after you close the page. Everything you write is saved privately to your own account.

I interrupted

Repairing an interruption does not require a long apology.

  • Sorry — finish your point.
  • I jumped in there. Please carry on.
  • Go ahead — I'll hold my thought.
  • I interrupted. Finish what you were saying.

Then come back to your keyword above when the other person has finished. Interrupting once does not need a long apology, and it does not mean your point stops mattering.
